yesyouam (345), Fairport, New York, USA May 14, 2008 12 oz. bottle at Shima Sushi in Webster, NY. Kirin Ichiban is a clear and sparkling pale yellow lager with a small white head that quickly fades. The aroma is soft and fruity with some light grain. It is light bodied and watery in the mouth. The flavor is pretty corny, fairly bitter and not-so-fresh. Good for washing down Unagi Nigiri, I suppose.
Cory (2), , California, USA does not count Aug 19, 2008 Pretty much no taste with a very pale color. It goes down easy and and I think thats pretty much what its made for. Cheers!!! dornoy (619), Lyngby, Denmark Aug 16, 2008 White head on a pale yellow body. This brew is intented to be a thirst-quencher, no more. It is obviously manuractured from rice, and there is not much taste in it. However, on a hot Summer day, it it a drinkable beer, but taste is not present. Paulaner22 (6), Panama does not count Aug 14, 2008 Pale Golden beer. Has a very light taste. mjs (481), Helsinki, Finland Aug 12, 2008 (Bottle, brewed by Wells & Young, on 2008-08-09) Pale golden. Clear. Largish white head. Metallic nose with light hoppy aroma. Light-bodied soft palate with lot of carbonation. Bitterness and bit of sweetness in taste. Boring.
