bottle: tasted exactly like my wife’s asahi beer, probably because both were served at about -666 degress below 0. It’s ok I guess, grainy taste, no smell, not much more to say. Probably rating this too high.

Aug 5, 2008 This was my favorite beer when I was 15 and taking Japanese language class. There is no denying this. I think what I liked about it was its crisp body, pearly carbonation, and easy-to-drink grass and malt. Tastes like a light beer, I suppose in a good way. I won’t trash talk this beer, just know it isn’t going to win any awards anytime soon.

Aug 3, 2008 Bottle. Pours yellow. Smells and tastes light. Like a nice American Macro. Not bad on a hot day, but not one of my faves.

Jul 30, 2008 Japanese equivalent to Coors Light... still better than Bud Light though! Good to have with Sushi since there are not many other beers and I don’t like Saki.

Jul 21, 2008 Light golden color, thin white head from the tap. Light malts in the nose, not much else. High drinkability but really no beer flavor.

Jul 21, 2008 Tap at Senor Wongs in St Paul. Tastes like nothing at all, typicall macro lager. No way you would ever be able to tell this from Bud, Miller, etc. More expensive though of course, being its brewed in Japan.
