2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
12 ounce bottle, bottled on 18 Jan 2012, the bottle says freshest taste within 180 days so I think I’m still good there. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a clear gold color with about an inch off-white head. Head retention and lacing is average. Aroma is sweet malt and corn, and not much else. Taste is the same as the aroma. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it is light and goes down easy. For the style of beer it is, it’s not too bad. Worth a try if you can pick up a single bottle somewhere.

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
Like Original Kirin Lager, It tastes very artificial or should I say “engineered”.
It has good body and big head like Kirin Lager. I prefer Kirin Ichiban over Kirin Lager. Yet again, this beer must be really cold to enjoy.

Uma pilsen muito comum que não tem
Nada demais. A boemia é melhor que ela. Não vale tomar novamente.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pours clear pale straw with a short, short-lived white head, no lacing. (3/5) Nose is crackery pale malt, slightly grassy. (4/10) Taste is mild sweet, very mild bitter. (4/10) Light body, moderate carbonation, crisp finish. (3/5)
Light, crisp and inoffensive. Goes well with sushi, but that’s about the extent of it. (9/20)

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours clear straw yellow with small white head that soon vanishes leaving only minor skim.
Light aroma of malt, yeast and cereal. Taste is mild and pleasant, good for accompanying sushi or spicy food without being assertive. AB InBev is the actual brewer, so this in most respects this is another macro lager. But there’s a refreshingly crisp rice note.
Those who want to brag about how big and bold and alcoholic their microbrews are will flee. It’s a beer to have with Asian food on a hot day, when you want to have more than one.

1.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Had this on draft at a Japanese restaurant recently. Is it great beer? No. Is it even good? Not particularly. But it goes down easy with some sushi.

2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Not bad for a commercial pale lager. Probably the good water used makes the difference. Golden pour, malty taste, bitter finish. Classic.

Lager com aroma suave, boa formação de espuma,no sabor presença de malte e levemente de lúpulo, pequeno amargor no final,nota-se a presença de cereais não maltados(milho, arroz)porem não prejudica o conjunto.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Dorada muy clara ligeramente turbia. Espuma normal. Aroma escaso, a cereal. Bastante carbónica y refrescante con amargor final destacado. Nada especial. Bebible. Sin mas.

1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Draft. Pale, straw pour, eh. Lots of corn, brewing cereal in this one. No real hops or malts of note - it’s barely beer-like. Really lost any appeal it may have had as it approached room temperature - wasn’t keen to finish. If cold, it could work as a quick mouth rinser.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. This gear always gives the impression that it’s somehow better than other pale lagers when it really isn’t. Maybe a bit. Pours Clear Gold with a White head and a mess of bubbles. Tastes pretty inoffensive. Light malt, very light hops and extremely light bitterness.
