Pale, weak, yet slightly refreshing. Went alright with my food. Not over powering at all.

Bottled. Pours a light yellow color. Aroma is grainy with a slight hint of malt. Some acidic/sour smelling as well. Very light flavor, a touch of malt and alot of water. Not much going on.

yellow body white head. seemed to be a more watered down version of Kirin, if thats possible. Minimal hops and mostly sweet malt flavors. It was not a bad beer, but it certainly wasnt good.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
The aroma is malty with rice like flare. The appearance is light pale gold with a small head. The flavor is exactly like the aroma with very small hop bitterness. The palate is almost like water. This is a very likeable for a light beer. There is not much flavor but there is nothing gross about it either.

1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Very much inferior to regular Kirin. This is so watered-down/ thin/ and lacking in flavor of any kind that it really seemed pointless to finish, but I did anyway, because it still is beer, right?

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Light yelloow body with a white head. The aroma is carrots and potatoes. There is not much else to smell in this. The taste is iceberg lettice along with some turnips. This is pretty nasty. A thin body.

Pretty much light drinking water except that enough of this will make you burp. I wonít be having that much of this pale yellow, malt flavored seltzer water.

0.9 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
Pours clear yellow with a fully receding white head. Aroma of skunk and corn. Taste is of corn and other nasty adjuncts. Mouthfeel is thin and watery with fizzy carbonation. Nasty stuff, even less palatable than Bud Light.

Yo. This stuff ainít good. As the Japanese would say, "Flavor jaa arimasen!" And then they would smash the bottle on the bar top and throw the broken bits of glass into the bartenderís eyes. The one redeeming quality of this beer was that on the first sip, toward the finish there was a really nice hit of malts. Honestly, in the future, Iím going to stick to domestic light beers. The taste is about the same. And I use the word "taste" very loosely in this case.

The Kirin brewery was actually bought out by Anheiser-Busch, so this is probably why the beer is good, especially with Japanese cuisine.
