With just 95 calories and full-flavor, Kirin Light is one of the few great world-class Lights.
Canadian barley malt, Czech hops, rich amber color.

Editorís Note: Also brewed in the US: "Anheuser-Busch began brewing Kirin Lager, Kirin Ichiban and Kirin Light at its Los Angeles brewery in 1997. The agreement marks the first time Anheuser-Busch has produced foreign brands for sale in the United States."

Pours a rather typical and uninspiring clear straw yellow with not much of a white head. Aroma is weak and watery, barely like beer at all. Flavor is malty, on the thin side, all too typical of light beers. Texture has only a little fizz to it. Still Iím glad I gave it a fair shake. [Insert joke about light beer here.]

Clear, light, decent head. Malty aroma and a watery taste. Not sure what else to say.

Pours a pale straw yellow, nose is very hard to detect, slight hints of grain, hint of earthiness, taste is quite bland, mashed rice, mild bitterness, not much else going on.

Not too bad for a light beer, but still bad. Typical pale lager/light beer taste, or lack of, just a little better than some other lights and ultras

had this beer because I wanted a lighter beer for my diet. I was actual surprise how much I enjoyed it. slight corn but a nice overall flavor with a rice like flavor.

Awful. Water with stale grass and grain. How does this brand even stay around? One of the worst beers Iíve ever had.

Someone left this in my fridge so I figure what the hell, Iíll give it a shot. Pours clear golden color with white head. Grainy malt aroma. Bland, inoffensive flavor with some bitterness. Light body with crisp carbonation.

This beer is just garbage. Ordered one of whatever my party was drinking and got this. It took me a while to figure out that it was a light beer, i only figured it out after having the origional which was much heavier in the malting...stay away.
