2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Poured a clear golden with a white head. Not a good German beer, but nice solid beer at a great price.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz bottle. Pours a clear copper color with a small white head. The aroma is sweet cereal grains and some corn. The flavor is more lightly sweetened grains, spicy hops and some mixed nuts. The palate is smooth, crisp and full and the carbonation is lively. Finishes short and dry. Overall: Not bad for a lager type beer.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Single bottle from my brother on 09/09/2012. Colour: A light brown with strong orange hues and minimal head. Nose: Strong grain aroma with a lacing of vanilla. Small fruit punch hint comes out after much swirling. Taste: Medium-light sweet, medium-light bitter, medium sour. A touch cherry sweetness give a nice backdrop to some thick grain. There seems to be a late tangy sour kick that could be hop induced. Drinkable.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from CostCo: Poured a golden honey liquid topped with a soapy layer of head on top. Aroma is mostly malts with a slight hint of grain, hay, and honey. The drink is subtle yet does have a notable taste of malts that make this come across tasting like a marzen style. Probably the most stable beer out of the 4 that came in the variety pack.

2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle thanks to billshmeinke. Pours with a clear golden hued body with a small white head that fades. Aromas are grassy, grainy, floral with mild sulfur. Flavors are sweet, grainy and oxidized with mild DMS. Lively bubbles and thin. I think this bottle might have some age on it.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle:   Vibrant amber, moderate foamy white head, spotty lacing, light carbonation.   Malty nose,
slightly grassy, hay and straw.   Minor cardboard.   A little mealy on the tongue, otherwise malty with faint
grass notes.   Fairly clean, but also fairly plain.   Decent body, feels fairly thick... certainly not a thin
lager.   Sweet on the backside, er well somewhat sweet.   Feels like a heavy Pilsener, certainly more malty
and grassy.   Not half bad, better than the other Kirkland Signature brew and I am willing to bet probably better
than the Hefe and Pale.

1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle. My third in this product line. Very similar impressions so far ... flat (both physically and flavor-wise), technically clean, but unimpressive. Lacks any of the traditional characteristics of style, rather a simple lackluster presentation. (#4270, 10/2/2011)

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle from Costco. Deep bronze colored body with a light off white head. The nose has some rich bread dough and a little bit of almond. The taste has some slightly toasted bread crust and raw potato. There is also a slightly fruity cherry like finish. This is decent.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Costco: Pours a light amber color with a white head. Aroma of grass, lightly roasted malts, and some hops. Taste isn’t so bad. A little sweet with some hoppy bitterness. Does taste generic and I suppose it is made to be quite uninteresting. In any case, if this is a Vienna, would it not have been better to call it an Austrian lager.
