2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 rugbydude05 (478) - Bridgewater, NJ, New Jersey, USA - JAN 3, 2010
12 oz bottle- pours a deep copper color- minimal head. Lacing disappears from sides of glass immediately. Aroma begins as malty and caramelly, but then turns into a yeasty and bread-like aroma later in the drink. Taste is sweet at first and then becomes more bitter. Palate is average and not complex, typical of a lager. Decent pale lager, not as bland and bitter as other more commercial options.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 alexsdad06 (3103) - Ohio, USA - DEC 7, 2009
12 oz. bottle from Tmoney99. Pours a clear amber color with a small disappearing fizzy white head. The aroma is bready malt with moderate sweetness along with a general fruitiness. The flavor is grainy malt, earthy, with a slight fruity character. Slightly metallic at times. The finish has some bitterness. Light to medium bodied. Very little is offensive with this, the lower score just indicates there is not much going on to cause me to want to drink this again.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Tmoney99 (8844) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - NOV 26, 2009
Bottle from Costco - Cincy. Poured a clear copper color with a large frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate tart citrus and sweet malt aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium malty bitersweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 WabashMan (972) - Noblesville, Indiana, USA - NOV 18, 2009
I’ve not had too many beers from this brewer, yet this one seemed superior to the others (though that’s not saying all that much!). Nose was decent...lightly hoppy with yeast notes. Flavor was also ok, but unremarkable, with the same light hoppiness coming through. I’d certainly take this over a BMC offering, but it’s hardly a brew to seek out, if you’re looking for something in tradition of fine German lagering.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 TheBeerGod (4675) - Newport News, Virginia, USA - NOV 7, 2009
Bottle. Amber pour. Short white head. Aroma is caramel, grassy hops, light toffee, fruit and nuts trail mix and buttery biscuit. Taste is sweet malt, caramel, fruit and nut trail mix and light grassy hops. Body is medium with a bubbly carbonation. Ends with more caramel, light toffee, dried fruit, nuts and grassy hops. Not too bad!

Brown with a small head. Aroma is grassy, earthy, musty, corny. Not at all pleasant. Flavor is for the first time in a while, almost undrinkable. Like cooked vegetables and corn.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 BelgianBeerGal (2615) - Dayton Area, Ohio, USA - OCT 28, 2009
Local bottle. Clear brown colour with a medium foamy, khaki head, lots of carbonation and decent lacing. Aroma is sweet malt and apricot. Pretty clean taste but maybe a little metal in the middle. Some hops and bitterness pop up in the aftertaste. Decent considering the source.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 PorterPounder (4633) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - OCT 18, 2009
Tallahassee, Fl - Costco - 12 oz bottle - part of a 24 bottle variety pak for $18.99 - not a bad deal. Medium copper pour with a slight bubbly white head. Aroma has some toffee accents, some tootsie-roll like cheap chocolate and a hint of wort. Flavor has some toffee, a hint of chocolate and some ripening vegetable notes. Mouthfeel is slightly metallic and starchy. Not bad for the price and my fridge is full of beer for a few weeks!
