Cask conditioned at York Beer Festival ’16. Very dark brown with cream head. There are rich, darkly roasted malt notes here, coffee with a bitter chocolate hint and fruity liquorice. Lasting on the palate. Very decent indeed.

Dark amber in colour with a good coffee or parchment head. Excellent balance of coffee and medium malts. Good sweetness, but with rather a strong alcohol taste for a porter of this strength. I would say that this is a very good example of a British Porter.
