Nose is citrus, slight pine. Taste is lime, mandarin leading to a little cereal and a resin finish. Mouthfeel is suitable. Itís a decent American IPA, to be filed with the other 756,432 which are available.

500ml bottle. Pours light golden brown with a bit of haziness and a small.head. Biscuit & caramel malt backbone with citrus fruit in the nose, grapefruit, lime, seville orange marmalade, nice hoppy flavours leading to a crisp bitter finish. Well balanced. Carbonation is average. Nice!

Bottle from Drinkmonger. Slightly hazy golden body with a thin white head. Very light carbonation. Nice lacing. Aroma of what Iím pretty certain is the Citra hop - lemon, grapefruit, peach and soap. Flavour is similar to the aroma - this is a real hop bomb. Apricot and lemon with a light caramel backbone. Thin to medium body with an oily mouthfeel. Soft carbonation. This is the first Kirkstall Brewery beer Iíve tasted, and on this evidence it wonít be the last. It reminds me of Highlandís Island Hopping or a turbo-charged version of Fyne Alesí Jarl - itís packed full of fruity hop flavours. If Iím being picky, though, itís a bit light on the mouthfeel. A less filtered version of this would be absolutely immense.

500ml bottle from either Beermoth or Trafalgar Wines. Try as I might I just canít remember. Bucketloads of piney, mandarin hops which, after a rather bland, hugely disappointing local bitter, just about turned things around this evening. Kirkstall Brewery I have my eye on you.

For the sake of the social interaction just numeral ratings and/or some highlighted attributes. Bit sweet for IPA, fruity.

Bottle at home from ales by mail after reading review from Leigh good stuff
Hazy mud blonde with fluffy white head collapsing to lacing mandarin cheesecake aroma, medium carbonation and body, no sign of any booze, peaches and mandarins and a chalky bitterness with a long dry fruity apricot finish. Perfectly balanced and enjoyable.

Bottle from Bier Huis, Ossett. Slightly hazy pale amber. Thin, but tight, white head. Big, piney, fruity, oily, subtle as a brick IPA that delivers, as stated on the bottle, an intense taste experience. These Yorkshire lads donít piss about, you know...

Bottle from Trafalgar Wines, Brighton. Pours a slightly pale amber colour with a white head. Aroma is nicely hoppy - slightly herby, grass, nettles, rapeseed. Light body, medium carbonation, a bit foamy. Itís crisp, herby, a touch of caramel, lemon, grapefruit. Good bitterness. Really nicely balanced. Tasty.
