Craft Clerkenwell. Clear gold beer, little white head. Light palate with mild fine carbonation. Hoppier than the pale ale, this beer has slightly resinous grapefruit and marmalade. Again a floral note. Finishes with a mellow but satisfying hoppy bitterness.

Keg at the Euston Tap - London. Shared with Ken-O during our excursion. Pours clear gold with a lasting, creamy white head. Some bready malts in there, light tangy tangerine. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Light toasty doughy bread to finish, some orange and further tangerine. Decent.

Cask at Draft House, Tower Bridge, London. Somewhat hazy golden beer with a small but lasting offwhite head. Fruity citrus aroma, grapefruit, metal notes, red grapes, floral, rather bitter, some biscuits. Hoppy floral flavor, caramel, floral, dandelions, sourish notes, orange peel, grassy. A bit one dimensional on the bitter side.

Cask conditioned Handpump Mr Foleys Leeds. A copper coloured beer with a white head and lacing. A pleasant hoppy aroma with citrus notes. The mouth was spoiled though as the beer was served too warm thus not allowing the flavours to flourish. If anything the hops were a bit harsh.

Half pint, cask, guest ale at The Brewery Tap in Leeds. Cloudy amber body. Nitro creamy, white lacing head. Smell of dried fruits. Hoppy fruity taste with a twist of apricot. Nice bitter support. Rather flavoursome and a good one. (08.07.2012).

Cask, Pure Bar, Birmingham, 26/03/14. Honey amber with a creamy white collar. Nose involves fresh resiny pine, leather and grapefruit. Balanced moderate pine and grapefruit overtaken by husky lingering malt and biscuit. Touches of smoke. Plenty of punch at the ABV- certainly more IPA than ESB.

Cask at the Pure Bar and Kitchen, Birmingham . Poured a clear medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is nettle hop. The flavour is medium bitter with a lovely smooth woody resin hop spice pepper palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.
