A uniquely light and refreshing fruit beer with a crisp, clean flavor that is yellow in color. It is an easy drinking, slightly sweet beer with a blackberry flavor that is distinct, yet not overpowering. Medium light body with a medium high carbonation.

UPDATED: SEP 8, 2013 On tap at the 28/65 Brewhouse. Served a hazy light golden color with a small head and no real lacing. Aroma of citrus, mild fruit with wheat and just a bit of malt sweetness. Taste of citrus some malt sweetness and a subtle blackberry sweetness. Has a mild bitterness and the finish is quite clean. Fairly light body, crisp and refreshing. A pleasant summer beer that goes down easy.

Had this at their tap room Fall 2012. Not really impressed with any of their beers. Meh.

Missing a bit of extra berry in the finish but overall a solid beer, super refreshing.

Poured a clear gold with a lingering ring of white foam. Aromas of wheat, blackberry and light spice. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of wheat, blackberry and light straw with a crisp finish.

UPDATED: AUG 21, 2015 04/18/2012: Sampled on tap at the brewpub. Very pale yellow color, even lighter than their lager with thin white foam and LOTS of lace. Strong berry aromas, some mild wheat, no real hops or yeast characteristics. Flavor was predominantly tart blackberry as well, neutralizing everything else. Strong carbonation, light body but with a well-rounded wheat-bread mouthfeel, long-lasting fruity aftertaste. A nice, refreshing summer beer. UPDATE 08/20/2015: tasted again as part of a sampler flight, on draft. I didnít like it as much this time. Not sure if the recipe has changed, or my palate, but it was simply too syrupy sweet. To itís credit, the berry fruit flavour tastes real, not artificial as with so many competing fruit beers, but still just a weak wine cooler effect overall for me. Still a crowd pleaser though, so I get the pragmatic business decision.

Sample at beer fest. Poured a pale yellow color with a faint white head that went quick. Aroma was great. Blacckberries, grass, floral notes. Flavor went downhill from there. Tasted like throw up. Something didnít balance right. Faint blackberries, bread, metallic flavors. Below average beer, and I was looking forward to because I love blackberries. Very dissapointed.

Sampled at STL Heritage Festival - Pours hazy yellow with a white head. The aroma has lots of blackberries and smooth wheat. Medium smooth body with restrained carbonation. The taste is much like the aroma with a nice amount of blackberries and it is lightly sour. The finish adds a little bit of spice. This was a nice fruit beer.

On tap at The Highlands Brewery. Pour is a pale gold with a white head. Aroma is decent. Flavor is ok with only a fraction of the fruit there. Its more grainy than anything. One of ten in the sampler, not bad.
