Into the glass pours a strong golden yellow and cloudy beer with a flat head. It smells musty malty. Starts with rotten fruit, subtle malty and grainy, combined with a musty hop aroma. The middle part is very watery, it remains musty-fermented and slightly hoppy. Goes into a very musty-fermented finish with some watery hop notes! FAILED!!!

Aroma is slightly earthy and of citrus from the hops. Golden brown in color hazy from being unfiltered. Good bread taste slight toast and yeasty aftertaste. Good full flavor and pairs well with pretzels and bread.

A nice landbeer it could be better but it is still very good. Unfiltered and goes very well in the sommer.

Puh ich dachte es würde isch geschmacklich an das Kirner Pils anlehnen, da es ja das Selbe ist, nur halt unfiltriert. Aber weit gefehlt. Das Kirner Pur schmeckt wie PURes Wasser. Der Hopfen wurde einmal durchgezogen. Nein Danke! Test vom 14.6.2005, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 10,4,8,4,9,4 - 5,45

Bottled, thanks Bierkrug! Hazy pale yellow, rich firm head. Distinct grassy nose. Mid dry with bready malt forming a slim body. Remains crisp despite an underlying malt sweetness. Long spicy grassy bitterness. Thirst quenching and moreish.,.

A nice brew for me from Kirner, abit on the lighter side, some nice hay,grass flavors, wish it was abit more hearty, but its still a good drink, some bitterness on the aftertaste, liked it !

Bottle. Hay and barley malt aroma. Slightly hazy golden yellow color with moderate head. Moderately sweet creamy barley malt and grassy hops flavor. A very nice beer - one of the best from Kirner.

Light unclear medium yellow orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, straw, bread, light to moderate hoppy, hazelnuts shell notes. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20081014]

Local beer for me. Like the rest of the Kirners weak and watery with the same aftertaste. Although this is one of thier better beers not a great beer either.

Pours a hazy light golden yellow. Aromas of straw/grass/hops. Flavors of light fruitiness, caramel malts, mellow hop finish.
