Bottle shared with McTapps. Easy going Bock with a decent malt aroma and less alc in the taste than you would expect. Nice one to end the evening.

I always wonder why the German bottle/label designs are always so uninspiring, ugly, boring and old-school when the beer itself isn’t THAT bad....well here is another example. Deep golden colour with low head and smooth body. Nose of malt. Taste of rich, intense light malt, ripe grains, grass, hay, strong alcohol and roses. Easy to drink but just taht touch too much Bock; too dusty and boring in the finish. But overall a okay-kind of beer.

A nice malt forward beer with toasted carmel undertones and which does not overpower you with the higher alcohol. Actually flavor balances the strength pretty well.

Bottle. Fat fruity malt aroma with a flowery hop note. Golden, fine carbonation, whice lacing cream. Solid, light toasted malt base, sparkly mouthfeel, citric and flowery hop balance, good bitter finish which effectively cuts through the sweet start. Really well crafted moreish Maibock.

Bottle courtesy of bierkrug, thank you sir! Clear golden color, large fluffy white head. nice lacing. Aroma of smokey pepper. Taste starts sweet, then spiced, then bitter. Interesting.

A really good beer from Kirner. A nice tasting Heller Bock and something of a surprise from our area.

Akzeptables Bockbier. Danke an Grima!Test vom 9.5.2010, Gebinde: Glasflasche

Danke an Erzengel! 10/7/8/8/6/8

Bottle from Grima, thanks! Blonde. Cookie dough aroma. Sweet and slightly alcoholic grassy flavor. Malty and bready. Sticky mouthfeel. Decent.
