On tap at the brewpub. I sat outside in the biergarten drinking this, surrounded by almost nothing except silence, off the beaten track in green, flat, Schleswig-Holstein. The beer served a clear, golden color and a small but firm, white head. It’s a bit too sweetish on both aroma and flavor, but with sufficient hops to avoid it being cloying. It’s quite fruity too, decently bitter and with a faint note of banana. Some hay-like flavors. Medium body, low and smooth carbonation. Although on the sweet side, it’s a quite nice one, I guess the setting influenced a bit too. 110818

Leicht herber Antrunk, etwas bitter und leicht muffig. Hell-malzig getreidig, im Vordergrund herb. Typisch deutsches Getreidearoma, andere Aromen grenzen sich ab und scheinen aus dem Hintergrund nur schwach durch. 7/6/7/7/8/7

On tap. Clear yellow with a dense white head leaving laces. Good aroma of flowery hops. Medium body, lightly sweet malt with a dry and fairly distinct hopping. Well made. 180810

Draft. A light golden beer with a beutiful, lazing, white head. The aroma has notes of straw as well as lighter notes of eggs, citrus, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and minerals as well as hops, that pricles the tongue, before the dry, bitter, and strawy finish sets in.

A Mes rate. Bottle at Borefts 10am day after hotel tasting.
Clean gold with a decent white head. Straight down the line, easily quaffable pils. Refreshing and dry with a decent level of bitterness and good length of flavour. Sure, maybe a little one dimensional but just a really pleasant drink that I’d have no trouble sinking a fair few of.

Bottle at post Borefts BF 09 tasting. Pale gold, thin white head. Decent pilsner, only slight puke on the malts. Light and agile in mouth with decent hop sting on the finish. Really well made. Superb, drink all day pilsner.

[ As Pilsener Beer ]. Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, toasted, sewage - sour notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20081025]

1 L bottle as Pilsener Beer. Pours clear and golden yellow with a fully diminished white head. Dry and pilsner malty aroma with a mild acidic and dry note. Dry and malty flavoured. Slight earthy note in addition. Mild mouldy and dry bitter finish. Bitter into the far finish.

UPDATED: OCT 31, 2008 Draught, 4.8% at the brewpub. Weak lager aroma. Pale yellow colour, sparkling. Stable, frothy white head. The flavour is citric and fresh. Starts grainy and finishes bready and grainy with a hint of dust. A little thin, but clean, refreshing and flawless. 5 3 5 3 12
