Draught at the brewery. I thought this was a beer with Belgian yeast in it, though there was almost no Belgian character. It turns out to be a stout with Belgian chocolate added. That’s what it tastes like, anyhow. Pitch black with a fine, thick, tan head. Stout-like, with big roasted malts, coffee, dark chocolate. Fizzy, with some fruity asters and a nice bitter finish coming both from hops and roasting.
