UPDATED: JUL 28, 2013 Tap at Bankan. Amber colour, small off white head. Aroma is not so distinct. Just hops and malt. Nothing amazing here. But nothing wrong. Taste is decently bitter, nice citrus hops, touch resinous. Bit of toffee in the finish. Full on maltiness. Bready. Not wildly exciting, but decent enough. Rerate, can from Shinshu Sake Mura. Better than before. Citrus and maltiness. Not wildly exciting, but not so bad.

Can. Amber with a foamy white head. A big fruity hop and caramel malt nose, reminiscent of an IPA. Replicated again in the flavour, with a bitter finish.

larsga (5967) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 22, 2007
Coarse biggish offwhite head with holes from burst bubbles. Body is orange. Aroma is tropical fruit hops, maybe Amarillo. Sweetish watery tropical fruit taste. Smells nice, but is really too watery. (0.35l on draft.)

UPDATED: MAY 30, 2010 Can from the brewery. Medium amber color with a fine, high head. Caramel malt centered, slightly earthy. Flavors of toffee, caramel, lighter body with medium to strong earthy bitterness at finish. Decent but hop character limited to earthy bitterness, little aroma.

Cask at Devil Craft, 07/04/2013. Pours a burnt golden amber, clear, hazy foam on the surface, great lacing clinging to the side of the glass. Aroma is nice light citrus, green apple, whole hop cone notes (grassy, herbal), soft bready malts. Taste is soft grassy hops, light citrus and white fruit, moderate bitterness, light caramel. Light body, drinks nicely. Decent.

Light brown with small consistant head. Hoppy grass and grain nose, sugar as well. Taste has a hop quality and some spcies, bitter finish. Soft watery palate.
