0.6 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20
UPDATED: NOV 7, 2013 Destroyer is one of those unique phenomenons of history, when ALL tracks in an album came out pretty damn good. As for the beer with the same name, it doesn’t go even close to the worse tune of Kiss (except most of Psyco Circus). I bought it just for the gimmick. The disaster starts with the aroma - if one can call it "aroma" - which reeks as something that I can just picture as Gene Simmons’s hangover halitosis. No more needed. From there, it doesn’t get any better...actually, there’s a song title in Destroyer that I can relate to this experience: Sweet Pain.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Poured a clear pale golden colour with a two-finger foamy head that collapsed quickly and laced OK for a while. Low carbonation. Aroma strongly of malt. Taste dominated by malty flavours and without any bitterness. Light body. Short sweet caramel finish. Certainly not like its name-sake.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
330ml bottle from Auchan. Bought as a novelty really so expectations weren’t exactly running high. I’m guessing most people who buy this will put it straight on their shelf to show to mates and it’s probably the best place for it. Pours a very light pils yellow with a predictably light corn/grass taste. Fairly lifeless and bland. Best left unopened.

2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
I kind of guessed what this would taste like before opening. Pour is clear amber with thin white head. Aroma is slightly wet cardboard like with a sweet almost apricot flavour. Sweet finish and very little bitterness. Not bad, but not gonna make me want to Rock & Roll all night either....

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Very clear pale colour. Some distinct noble hop character in the aroma with light malt as well. Crisp, clean palate, nice hop bitterness. This is definitely in the Euro lager style, very easy drinking and not too bad actually.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
330ml bottle. Dark yellow with a hint of orange. White fluffy foam with little lacing. Malty and fruity. Light bread, honey, orange with a brief citrus ending. Thin, on the border of watery, palete.

@ Röhälla. Flaska från Systembolaget (16:-). En helt ordinär ljus lager. Absolut inget speciellt.

1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
375ml bottle. Ok, I admit I bought it for gimmick value. Pale pour with fluffy white head. Wet cardboard/dog, metallic smell. Flavour is mild, bad wet cardboard, bad pale lager taste. It’s pretty awful, even by bad generic pale lager standards, with a nasty metallic aftertaste.
