Bomber. Kind of looks like a brandy. It is clear darker cherry brown. A creamy beige head that ends in a ring. The nose is not big and I smell fruit, anise, and chocolate. Some roasted notes, too. This is unique. It is somewhat bitter and that is probably from the orange peel. Cooked brown sugar, fruit, anise, and cough syrup. Throw in a bit of cocoa, and wheat. Mid way through I notice that it has become more like a dunkel. The pomegranate makes this style defying, though. It also makes it sour and a bit unpleasant, especially at the finish.

Bottle from ØlKonsortiet. Pours clear redish amber with big head. A lot of orange peel in the nose, some sweet pomegranate in the back. Fruity, tart taste. Bitter and tart finish, dry-ish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

25-MAY-2012, bottle @home, from "Superbest". Slightly hazy amber with tan head. Quite fruity nose with red berries. Even stronger on the palate. Pomegranate, orange, but also malty sweet with a note of wood and caramel. Nice ale.

(22oz bottle) Pours a reddish-brown body with a small off-white head. Aroma of orange peel, grass, grain, and earth. Flavor of caramel, orange peel, lemon, pomegranate, toffee, light coriander, and toasted bread.

Bottle shared by nuplastikk...thanks Greg! - Pours brown with a thin light tan head. Nose is agave syrup and sticky sweet tropical fruit. No hopping. Tastes is lots of melon and tropical fruit, with a ton of syrupy sweetness. Again no hoppiness, and just too sweet. Slick and not too carbonated. An odd beer, but fun to try.

650ml-shared by jtclockwork-pours hazy amber with a light tan head. Aroma is spice, medium malt, some fruit. Taste is herbal/spice-harsh coriander, medium malt-some molasses, yeast.

Pours clear copper color with small head. Aroma of grass, lemony fruits, hops, yeast and mild caramel. Flavor of lemony fruits, sourish berry notes, grass and yeast. A bit weird brew.

Bottle @ Ølfestival København 2012.
Pours a ruby amber colour with a white lacy head. Aroma of grassy hops, orange zest and lingonberry juice. Flavour of grassy hops, gooseberry bush, sour lingonberries, orange zest and weak caramel. Medium bodied, rough mouthfeel and a rough malty finish with some lingonberries. Basically a brown ale on the sour side.

Pours chestnut brown with a small, creamy, white film head. Aroma has strawberries, fruit, oranges, sweet maltiness. Mild caramel. Medium carbonation, fine dry and light grainy mouthfeel. Flavour has good bitterness, light milky chocolate, mild grainy, pomegranate is there. Mild strawberry feel. Good and elegant.

Flaske: Brunrød klar øl med et fint skumhoved. Duften er let sødlig krydret, brown agtig. Smagen er syrlig meget interessant. Krydret med en del bitterhed til sidst til at binde det sammen. Meget interessant øl.
