COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
English: Brewed with a balanced dose of lemon grass and lemon/lime zest. This gives a zesty, crisp and fruity touch to a classic, but extra dry tripel, dry hopped gently with Citra hops. An entirely Scandinavian twist to this Belgian-US crossover style. Think: “What on earth have those monks been thinking of all these years.”
Brewed and kegged at Cambridge Brewing Co. from April 2011.

draught@erzbierschof - quite clear dark blond beer with a little persistent white foam left; almondy and perfumy hoppy aroma with light notes of alcohol and solvent, some undefined fruity notes; some initial sweetness, full-bodied and sticky, creamy palate and with a moderate carbonation; lively and very tasty; a late and solid bitterness; hints of spices, fruity hops and almonds, very long lasting and with some warming alcohol notes - complex, fruity and strong

Tap @ Beer Temple. Golden color, slightly hazy. White head, quickly receding. Aroma: strong brett notes at first, fading a bit later, sour fruit, sweet. Flavor moderately sweet & bitter with a sour note. Fairly full bodied. Finishes bretty & bitter. The brett notes put me off a bit.

Tap at bishops in copenhagen. This one poured a nice head, smell is hoppy and the taste is bitter, not much malt comes through mostly hops

Tap at Churchkey. A clear orange pour yields a weak, white head. Nose is medicinal like orange flavored Robitussin. Taste is sweet, sticky, bitter with stinging carbonation. Sweet orange soda body. Very odd. Feels like sticky, old apple juice with apple skin tannic bitterness. What a mess.

Tap at Churchkey. Slightly hazy dark gold pour with a beautiful frothy head. Nose of big citrus, peach, mango, and sweet nuttiness. Flavor holds massive sweet fruit, with notes of nectarine, kiwi, mango, pineapple, and a generous splash of hops. Medium to full body, good noticeable alcohol presence but not overwhelming. Awesome.

On tap. Clear golden with a creamy white head leaving a broad curtain of delicate lacework. Sweet yet still fresh aroma with both yeast and alcohol showing. Quite full-bodied, sweet sugary fruitiness, yeast and a solid dose of hops in the finish. 260811

Chopp. Deep cloudy golden, small white ehad. Yeasty fruity citrus aroma. Good mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet like, yeasty, fruity with citrus, ok pine, bit spice and the alcohol is noticed too.
