Medium beige head. Clear dark amber body with carbonation. Roasty raisiny caramelly aroma with burnt sugar notes. Dry-sweet roasty fruity raisiny caramelly taste with spicy watermelon notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dry wooden resiny grape juice aftertaste with wooden orangey notes. Lovely, and very interesting. Very unusual, too. (0.5l bottle, wine monopoly, Vika, Oslo.)

Bottle. Frothy white fair mostly deminishing head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and hoppy and light yeasty aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein dunkelbraunes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch röstmalzig, fruchtig, Karamell. Geschmack röstmalzig, fruchtig, Karamell, leicht herber Abgang.

750ml bottle (thanks FatPhil). Hazy copper color. Sour, apples, juicy, pomegranate in aroma. Juicy, wild berries, yeasty in taste. Not really doing it for me.

In the yeasty one there’s more of a sour raspberry aroma, in my clear one there’s a harsher tone, still some yeastiness. Odd berry aspect, can’t identify Taste is yeasty too. Touch husky grain. Rough.

Bottled 650ml (Bierkompass)
Deep amber-copper color, small beige head. Sweet caramel-fruity aroma with malts and raisins. Medium-bodied. Raisins, berries, apple, notes of honey. Touch of alcohol in the finish. Leaving short fruity aftertaste. Simple Belgian yeasty brew. Named as brown ale, but could be dubbel too.

Flaske, 65 cl. Klar rødlig ravfarvet med et lille off-white skum og en ret flad fremtoning. Maltet aroma, frugtig, karamel. Syrlig ekstrakt-sødme som i en fransk sirop, ret fyldig, let alkoholisk, let bitter appelsinskal i finish. Minder om en belgisk juleøl - uden krydderier. Ikke særlig interessant.

650ml bottle. Clear, dark copper colour with average, creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, beige head. Sweet-ish, unspecific fruity aroma, some orange, a touch of artificial straw- and raspberry, dry hoppy and zesty overtones. Taste is dry to bitter fruity, zesty, hints of fruit parings, moderately sweet, fruity, malty undertones, an artificial fruity touch; slightly sticky palate. Too sweet. An auspicious idea not yet perfected.

Very hazy amber - brown beer with a tidy pale cream coloured head. Light palate, a little crispy. Minerals. Light malt with a trace of cream and caramel. Nicely judged fruits with pomegranate and orange in good balance. Finishes smooth . Very drinkable and a little and a malt off the beaten track.

Clear red amber colour, white head. Quite a looker! Aroma of hops, raisins, honey, malts and caramel. Sweet flavour, light yeast, light sour note, berry juice and caramel. Malty finish, some lingering sour notes, light citrus. The pomegranate isn’t really outspoken in this one, I’d say.

Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle. Pours an orange color with a white head. The aroma is full of wheat and fruit. The flavor is full of pomegranate, oranges, wheat and earth. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
