Bottle from Fanø Bryghus. Huge head with excellent duration. Color is hazy golden. Aroma and taste are flowers, perfume, spices, vegetables, fruits, malt and hops. Nice and bitter finish.

Aroma has wheat, yeast and citrus. Dry palate. Flavour is rather hoppy with yeasty notes, some citrus and wheat. Refreshing and nice, but a bit too thin – and a bit too much yeast here.

Pours a hazy yellow orange colour with a white creamy head. Aroma of floral hops, caramel, grass and some hay. Strong flavour of floral hops, mild caramel, grass, Belgian yeast and wheat. Medium bodied, high carbonation and a long, bitter and very floral finish. Straightforward and highly bitter saison.

Draft at Gingerman. Pours cloudy yellow. Nose/taste of orange and lemon zest, peppercorn, yeast, bready lemons and slight hints of peppermint. Medium body.

On tap at The Scratch. Quite bright amber colour for a saison. Small fluffy white head and aromas of summer fruits, peach and apricot mainly. The flavour is quite delicate yet strong at the same time. Nice beer for a warm day.

On tap at the Ginger Man. Pours a lightly haed gold with a medium to large white head. Light toast, citrus and musk on the nose. Nice phenolic yeast. Citrus, zesty and lively. Creamy and smooth with a nice bite. Musky, deep musk and citrus peel, a touch floral, lemon peel. Nice and bright, though it does almost get weighed down at times by the malt.

Draft at Paradiso Dupont. Hazy yellow color. Aroma of lemonpepper. Taste is bitter lemon, straw, hay. No funk or barnyard to speak of.

Pretty good, very chalky and bone dry which is how i like a saison. Smells slightly peppery and very carbonated but overall pleasant. Grassy through the palate with a clean finish.

Fruity, light pepper aroma. Hazy golden color. Medium white head. Light sweet, light pepper, spicy taste. Light bitter, peppery finish.

On tap at Ølfestival 2011. An unclear, yellow-golden beer with a rather small, off-white head. Oranges and pale malts on the nose, lacking on the aromas normally making saisons so interesting. Fruity flavor with banana and citrus, slightly peppery towards the end. Medium body, dry and nicely carbonated. Peppery and bitter finish. A quite pleasant one, I especially like the peppery touch, but it’s not that interesting. 110527
