2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 phredrik (886) - Aalborg, DENMARK - JUN 1, 2012
50 cl bottle. Pours amber with a small head. Aroma is grassy hoppiness, dishwashing soap (sulfo), bland caramel, pretty fucken far from an IPA, not hoppy at all. Taste is a bit bitter, caramel malts, grass, astringet hops. Wow, this really is a bad IPA. This goes out to all gypsy brewers: please refrain from brewing at Ørbæk, they suck at brewing.

From a 500ml bottle on 27/5/2012. Pours a cloudy dark amber, with a small head. Has a moderate aroma of dark fruit and mild hops. Flavour wise, it’s got lots of caramel malt and a good dose of fruity hops. This is an enjoyable, slightly different, though relatively subtle IPA

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 lusikka (2536) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAY 12, 2012
Draught @ Ølfestival København 2012.
Pours a hazy amber colour with a small head. Aroma of caramel, gooseberry bush and hops. Flavour of caramel malts, gooseberry bush again, some hops and biscuit. Medium bodied, slick mouthfeel and a rough malty finish. Alcohol comes through in the finish. Way too malty and stuffy. Also, this is an amber ale.

Pours hazy amber color with small head. Aroma of pale biscuit malts, mild fruits, hops, caramel and grass. Flavor of caramel, hoppy fruits, biscuits, nutty notes and malts. Quite boring.
