English: Heavily hopped with 50 % US and 50 % NZ hops, for a dry, clean and intensely fruity DIPA. The explosion of citrus, passion fruit, peach and apricot flavors wraps the intense hop bitternes in a highly seductive way. Think ’This is my idea of the ideal fruit bowl!’

(21.0 % P, 9.0 % ABV (first batch at Sigtuna), 100 IBU, Colour ~ 15 - 20 EBC).

Getreidig hopfiger Antrunk wobei die Hopfigkeit etwas dumpf erscheint. Das bleibt leider so, eher herb würzig als hopfig, der Alkoholgehalt ist erkennbar. Hell süßlich, vollmundig. 11/12/8/11/10/11

650ml bottle. Hazy amber colour with average to huge, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, off-white head. Fruity hoppy aroma has notes of passion fruit, apricot, a sourish touch of vinegar. Taste is minimally sweet caramel malty, bitter hoppy, fruity notes of passion fruit, peach; lasting bitter hoppy finish with a chalky, mineral touch.

Pours deep hazy gold into a shaker. Off-white micro head with excellent retention recedes leaving trailing sheets. Stale tropical and dried fruit aromas. Hot and sweet with peach, mango and apricot upfront turning to mild resin in the dry lasting finish.

Bottle, 66 cl. Almost clear orange amber with a decent white head. Nose is sticky and sweet with tons of caramel and a fruity note of abricots and gooseberries. Not that hoppy though. Just as sticky in the mouth as teh aroma suggest, lots of fruity residual sugars but quite well balanced with a bitter piney finish and quite some alcohol.

22oz bottle: Pours a mostly clear deep copper bronze with a spotty-lacing froth of white head. Has a sweet toasted caramel malty nose with some herbal grassy hop notes and a touch of honey. Starts with pretty good fullness and chewy malty sweetness with plenty of hop bitter bite and some floral notes with light oxidation. I just picked up the bottle and there’s no date, but it seems a little stale to me. Otherwise, it could be better if fresher.

Tap at fairbar, 8/6 2013. Deep orange, small white head, beautiful lacing. Aroma, piney hops, sweet malty background. Taste, hoppy up front, malty in the middle, bitter aftertaste grapefruit. Nice carbonation.

courtesy of Antonio Rey - pretty clear dark orange beer with a poor head retention; aroma of cream and almonds, hints of peach and pineapple below; full-bodied, very assertive and solid bitterness; dry and long flowery hoppy finish; the fruits stay in the background now
