Thanks to hogtownharry. Deep amber pour. The nose is pretty peppery and spicy. There’s a bit of nice fruitiness and a bit of light peppery character. Some light mintiness and a touch of sweet fruit. Fairly assertive bitterness and a lovely lingering finish. A bit of spice.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
A "nordic" beer that is actually reasonably priced. And its fresh and brewed in the US. Smells like orange gatorade and cleaning products. Flavor is medium bitter, vegetal, lemongrass, melon. A wacky brew, one of the hops is a dead ringer for cleaning fluid.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a golden color with a big fluffy head that leaves good lacing on the glass.
The aroma is a balance of fruity hops, husky grain, honey, and some light herbal character.
The flavor is not as sweet as it smells, the beer is moderately bitter and has a very unique flavor for a Double IPA. There is some honey, some light alcohol notes, a good dosing of floral hops and about as much husky graininess. As it sits in the glass more citrusy hop and fruit rind come out.
Odd, and a little awkward... not bad mind you, just not something I would really seek out again.
