Bomber from Hayduke. We had this together via face book chat. This was a cool looking beer. It was mid brown and opaque with a one finger beige head. Flavors were nicely balanced with hops, malts, and sugar. It gave a candy fruit effect that reminded me of Valentines Day Candy Hearts and would be a good beer for that holiday. Some nice bright hops were citrus fruit. This was an enjoyable beer. Thanks Ron.

Copper colored pour with a white head. Sweet bread and toffee notes with a slight spiciness. Grass, cardboard, and a light solvent note really ruin it, however. Tastes of toffee, bread, and sugar sweetness up front. The same cardboard and solvent notes follow, some grassy bitterness, and a hint of spice and alcohol.

Bottle. Pours a hazy dark amber color with a very small head. Nose is actually a little bit hoppy with some nice grassy notes. Taste has some bitterness to it like an IPA - I never would have pegged the style. Good brew...
