COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Editor’s note: Previously called ’Kissmeyer West Coast Pale Ale’

English: Dry, crisp, medium malty body, medium smooth bitternes, big, fruity hop aroma and flavour. Think a bolder and more aromatic version of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.

(13.3 % P, 6.0 % ABV, 35 IBU, Colour 20 – 25 EBC).

It’s hazy bronze with a huge, creamy head. The aroma is nicely hopped with notes of citrus, fruit, malt and light spruce. The flavour is moderately sweet with notes of citrus, caramel, exotic fruits, and the finish is dry and slightly bitter.

500ml bottle from Vinmonopolet Vika, Oslo. Huge and thick off-white head, leaving frothing rings of lace on the glassware. Next to clear copper brown-tinged body. Smell of beady malts entwined with dried fruits. Fine blended taste of earthy malts, sweet berries, almond and ripe fruits, as well as a touch of pepper on the swallow. Not overly bitter finish. A good malt dominated pale ale (Saturday eve at home in Tromsø, 02.06.2012).

Bottle(the label claims:"brygget og tappet af Gravity Brewing Sal, Lebanon(!)"): Hazy, orangey-golden, small and stable off-white head; dry herbal and slightly grapefruity nose with a mild, but distinctive sweet-malty and corny(?) background; moderate to solid dry bitter flavour, quite light bodied for a beer of 5.5%, tart MF; dry bitter and slightly yeasty finish, a malty sweetness is barely detectable. A neither/nor brew…

Draught at Hilpeä Hauki, Helsinki, Finland as Kissmeyer West Coast.
Hazy amber colour with small white head. Fruity hops in rather sweet aroma. Flavour is bitterish fruity hops and some caramel sweetness. Very drinkable.

Tap at Churchkey. Poured a lightly hazy orange with a weak, white head. No lace. Mochi, dough, flour aroma. Taste is bitter, mild cheesy hoppiness, sticky syrup, saltwater, weak nutty hops. Eh. Probably not what was intended.

Bottle. Pours a clear pale orange with a light brown head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has a good amount of grass hops with just a bit of grapefruit. Flavor has a good amount of grapefruit backed by some grass and a bit of a bread backbone.

(bottle, 33cl, Kissmeyer West Coast Pale Ale, 5.5% abv) Almost clear, amber to copper colour with a slightly beige and loose foamy head. Biscuity malty aroma with notes of caramel and flowery and fruity hops including notes of peach and ripe pear. Moderately bitter and slightly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Biscuity cara-malt character with a good dash of drying resin-spicy and fruity hops; bitter and mildly sweet cara-malty finish with a resiny and slightly fruity tail. 28.IV.15

Bottle shared around the campsite at BCTC. Pours a lightly hazed amber with a small white head. Sweet, weird catty notes. Sweaty durian notes as well. Medium-bodied, sweaty and weird. Long sweet malt, toast on the finish. Strange.
