Editor’s note: Previously called ’Kissmeyer West Coast Pale Ale’

English: Dry, crisp, medium malty body, medium smooth bitternes, big, fruity hop aroma and flavour. Think a bolder and more aromatic version of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.

Copenhagen 16/8 2015. 33 cl bottle from SuperBrugsen. Very minimalistic look - sold as "local production" in the supermarket. Pours hazy orange with fluffy white head. Settles as 0,3 cm layer of foam with some lacing. Aroma is intense citrus with some sweet notes of exoctic fruit. A little acidic. Medium carbonation. Taste is rather bitter with lemon and citrus providing sourness. Dry finish with bitter aftertaste. Fresh summer beer if you enjoy bitter sour beer.

330ml as "Kissmeyer West Coast Pale Ale", 5,5%, - brewed & bottled at Gravity Brewing, Lebanon (? - 2nd entry?), 19/11/2014 - exp. 19/11/2015. - A tad old maybe, as imported by Rudat, but held up well: some cheesy hops in a peach compote in aroma, yoghurt and blossom, going into indeed into a sort of less precise, bitter and yeastier version of SNPA: candied orange and peach, yoghurt, bitter blossom. Well-composed, odd Lebanon small-batch contract brew with some flabby elements by one of the Scandinavian-US scene’s grand seigneurs.

Tap @ Hilpeä Hauki, Helsinki.
Pours a deep amber colour with a long-lasting white head. Aroma of faint fruits and caramel. Flavour of caramel malts, fruits such as grapefruit and floral hops. Quite sweet. Medium bodied with a slick mouthfeel. Hoppy fruity finish. Not bad but lacks character.

Bottle. Pours a clear pale orange with a light brown head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has a good amount of grass hops with just a bit of grapefruit. Flavor has a good amount of grapefruit backed by some grass and a bit of a bread backbone.

Bottle. Large bubbly beige like head that mostly lasted. Fair display of lacework. Cloudy golden/amber color. Aroma of preach, passion fruit, pineapple, light toffee. Quite hoppy fruity aroma and mouthful. The aroma is right up there with Sierra Nevada in my opinion, but the body is a bit too thin. Light to medium bodied with an average carbonation and light oily dry texture. Light to moderated bitter and sweet flavor. Gets a little bit of that liquorish like finis from the hops.
