COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
1712-2012, brewed for their 300th anniversary. Clear red-brown colour, large beige head. Intensive hop aroma. Elegant dark malt body with caramel and roasetd malts, plus lots of very aromatic hops, resiny, lemony and slightly grassy. Unusually hoppy for a dark beer - this gives it an almost ale-like character.

Bottle looks simple but really good. Beer in the glass a bit darker than exspected, nice head. Starts not as mild as exspected, fine malty-dry with some roasty notes. Modest bitter. Finish mild but not washy, fine spicy. Quite drinkable. Not bad!
