Bottle, according to Bierclub.de straight from the tanks.
Deep golden hue, creamy and lacing eggshell head. Straw and crackermalt and fruity malt aroma overlaid by fine bittering hops. Bready, chewy base, with a elegant tingling bitterhop counterpoint, light citric and dry - really invites to take big sips. Sparkly yet solid mouthfeel. Fresh malt and hop aftertaste. Lagerbeer at its best

Bought at the Nürnberg train station, consumed on the train to Jena. Poured a full golden body with a firm white head. Grainy nose, some sweaty apple müsli. Full toasty grainy taste, sweetish and ending on a dryish note, somewhat polleny but not much to it. Ok, slightly different from the norm.

Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!
Im Glas steht ein orange-bräunliches Bier mit guter, hoher, langlebiger Krone. Der Geruch offenbart sich süßlich malzig, leicht getreidig und angenehm gewürzig. Der Antrunk erfolgt mallzbetont und überraschend röstig, was ich nun nicht erwartet hätte. Einige würzige Töne spielen im Hintergrund mit. Der Abgang ist sagenhaft würzig, mit süßlich malzigen Nuancen, und hier kommt der Hopfen auch prima durch. Insgesamt sehr lange nachhallend. Die Mitte bleibt gut würzig und stets süffig. Sehr leckeres, und wiedermal grandioses Bier aus Erlangen.

it is a decent somewhat alcoholic maerzen. Light gold color, nice smell, the flavor isn’t as good, but a decent beer.

Frischer Antrunk, der teilweise würzig, vorherrschend aber hopfig und herb ist. Im Mittelteil wird das Bier etwas würziger, dies geschieht durch einen leichten Malzton, der die Herbe in eine andere Richtung dirigiert. Erhalten bleibt die Frische und der dafür wichtige Hopfen. Der vollmundige Hopfen nimmt im Abgang zu, gleichzeitig wird das Bier durch die aufsteigende Malzigkeit würziger. Interessant ist hierbei, dass das Malz zwar zur Würzigkeit beiträgt, sonst aber von der grasigen Herbe weitestgehend verdeckt wird. Zuletzt deutlich grasig und cremig-hopfig. 0.5 l bottle, thanks Timo A! Deep golden color. Sweet malty aroma with malt husks and toasted bread. Sweetish toasty, toffeish and nutty flavor. Full bodied. Pleasant mellow toasted malt taste, one of the better märtzens. I was really surprised too see other diverging ratings.

Bottle. Medium head with medium duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are grass, malt, hops and notes of caramel.

Bottle. Honey golden with a thin white head. Dry aroma, sweet oily taste with a slight bitter aftertaste. medium gas

bottle. Clear golden colour, mid-sized white head. Malty nose. Full-bodied, malty base with a touch of fruit and some green-grassy hops. Well-balanced, nice.

Clear golden color, nice white head. Metallic, citrusy, malty aroma. Grassy, a bit sweet malty, slightly salty flavor. Sweetish, slightly alcoholic aftertaste. Typical "Export-style" beer.
