pivnizub (3768), Porúří, Germany Apr 9, 2006 Bottle: Golden coloured, small fluffy white head; distinctive sweetish-malty nose with a touch of honey and noble hops; medium bodied, robust bitter-sweet flavour; almost lingering aromatic floral-hoppy finish, balanced by some sweet honeyish malty qualities, well hidden alcohol. A very fine, well balanced and well rounded brew........! joss (3108), Garching b. München, Germany Apr 9, 2006 Bottle, according to Bierclub.de straight from the tanks. Deep golden hue, creamy and lacing eggshell head. Straw and crackermalt and fruity malt aroma overlaid by fine bittering hops.
Bready, chewy base, with a elegant tingling bitterhop counterpoint, light citric and dry - really invites to take big sips. Sparkly yet solid mouthfeel.
Fresh malt and hop aftertaste.
Lagerbeer at its best Geiserich (1530), Vienna, Austria Apr 28, 2006 Bottled:
Very nice malty aroma, sweetish with honey notes and some fruity hop notes. Flavor is malty with honey notes, some acid, fruity notes. End with a dry, light bitter finish. Realy pleasant Festbier. JorisPPattyn (4262), Antwerpen, Belgium Sep 11, 2006 Very good white head, disappearing. Golden-yellow clear beer. Fresh pale malts, traces of diacetyl, pinecones, honey aromas. Sweet, honeyish malts, grassy fringes. Lots of malts, fresh from the mill. Light, very little slickness. Good beer, but obviously for Keller drinking hours and hours and hours. MoritzF (3690), Ruhrpott, Germany Apr 9, 2006 (bottle) Clear golden colour with a lacing medium sized foamy white head. Slightly sweet and honeyish malty aroma with herbal hops in the background. Bittersweet flavour, medium body and almost crispy carbonation. Light sweet grainy and malty taste with honey and aromatic hops; herbal hoppy and medium bitter finish. Had it on tap at the Bergkirchweih eight years ago, now donated bottled by pivnizub - many thanks !
