Tükrös borostyánszínű főzet, melynek piszkosfehér habja nyomot hagy a pohár szélén Ill. vékonyan megmarad a tetején.
Illata karamellás, fűszeres.
Enyhe csípősséggel indul, az íze karamellás/aszalt gyümölcsös.
Aromája karamellás, fűszeres és füves, enyhe élesztős savanykával a háttérben.
A vége fűszeres, pirított mogyorós, kesernyés.
Szénsavtartalma alacsony, emiatt a teste sima és lágy.
Összességében jó volt, bejött.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 ogivlado (4990) - Zagreb, CROATIA - MAY 13, 2010
Bottled 500ml. -from Sörspecialista.hu, Budapest. Nice amber coloured, small off-white head, dry caramel nutty nose. Slight roasted malt, coffee and touch of alcohol with too strong sugar presence. A bit too sweet for the better rating.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Marko (3614) - Split, CROATIA - MAY 11, 2010
0.5l bottle courtesy of and shared with ogivlado who brought it from Budapest (thanks!). Poured a dark amber-orange body with a small slightly off white head. Dry coffeish nose, maltiness. Sweet strong, remarkably coffee-like malty taste. Relatively simple, one dimensional but nice.
3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 judasbeer (431) - Budapest, HUNGARY - FEB 28, 2010
Appearance: Deep coppery brown color. Frothy, airy, off-white to yellowish beige head.
Aroma: Crisp milk chocolate, cinammon, and a bit spicy hop bite. Fit into the style very nicely.
Flavor: Very nice, sweet toffee-malty backbone. Crisp, grainy milk chocolates fills the mid-palate. Medium level of grassy hops in the end. It’s not so well-integrated to the sweet toasted malty sweetnes. I can also detect some faint rusty, meaty(?), yeasty off-flavors at the medium, but so overwhelming.
Mouthfeel/Palate: Medium body with soft to average carbonation. Smooth oily, yeast envirnoment.
Overall Impression: Amazing character of sweet, toasted malts with caramel bombarded sugary notes. Not cloying. The hops are not so well-integated. Not bad.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 yngwie (10761) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - OCT 28, 2009
Bottle. A clear, almost amber beer with a small, off-white head. Malty aroma with caramel dominating, some fruityness as well. Bread and caramel in the flavor with some fruityness and a little bitterness. Medium body, dry. Short, bready finish. Sure a decent, easy drinking beer, but that’s it. 090821
