3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Quite sweet, with light buuterscotch notes, quite caramelly. Ever so lightly roasted characters aswell, with some notes of berry fruit. Sounds like a i got a fair bit of flavour out of, but the truth was it wasn’t that complex. Not bad though.

2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottled. Spicy, malty aroma like bread. Finish of average length, at first slightly smoky, then bitter. The finish spoils this otherwise good beer for me.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle: Chestnut to amber coloured, bigger fluffy off-white head, lacing and slowly diminishing; sweet dark-malty, a bit caramelly nose with a tinge of iron and a hidden hoppiness; a bit sweet, but mainly dry (malty) flavour, medium bodied; toasted malt in the finish, late bitterness. Pleasant, but not overwhelming......

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
(Bottle 50 cl) Clear, dark amber with a creamy, off-white head. Caramelish nose. Medium body with malty, lightly sweetish accents and then an odd, ashy tang. Ends dry and bitter. Strangely inharmonious. 170406

2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
A deep red beer with a huge orange head. The aroma is sweet and slightly acidic, and the flavor is also a combination of sweetness and acidity combined with notes of cowberries. Makes me think more of a Flemmish Sour than a Märzen.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Beautifull amber chestnut, big creamy lacing off-white head. Big aromatic hops on top of honeyish malt.
Sweet honey-on-bread malt balanced with a load of aromatic hops, slightly metallic - a hint of skunk. chewy and sparkly body. Me like.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: APR 9, 2006 (bottle, donated by pivnizub) Clear copper colour with a beautiful lacing foamy beige head. Sweet and toasted malty nose with herbal hops, notes of lemon and a touch of liquorice and cinnamon. Moderately sweet but strong toasted malty taste with caramel and hints of fruitiness, medium bodied, lasting and balanced malty and bitter herbal hoppy and spicy finish. Very good Märzen.

Easy to drink. Quite malty but after the 4th pint you don’t notice it anymore...
