3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 JorisPPattyn (6748) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - SEP 13, 2006
Clear yellow gold, heavily carbonated to a dense, yellowish, collapsing head. Typically straw- or grasslike malt and fresh, dry German hopsnose; "herb". Quite dry, hoppy pils, with a rather abrupt end, leaving only the long hopbitterness lingering on. Extremely dry Pilsener; light to medium bodied. Impressive Pilsener. Only a freshly tapped "Ungespundetes" can vie with this in Ol’ Allemania.

Aromatic malty body with a hops accented taste, slightly grainy palate; medium dry and moderately bitter and herbal hoppy finish with light flowery notes in the aftertaste. Top quality Pils.

Bottle looks simple but good. I like the colours. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts modest dry, with a fruity touch of lemon. Background a bit bitter. Well balanced finish, still fruity-sourish. Not bad!

It is a pretty decent, not extremely noteworthy pils, but it has a nice hoppiness to it.
