Bottle. Clear gold with a slight white head. Light cereals and summer fruits in a sweetish aroma. Easy drinking, with some chewy malt flavours, more fruit and a softly bitter finish. Ok.

Poured from the bottle with a small head and not much lacing. Faint aroma of citrus and hay. Just a little malty sweetness and a lingering moderately bitter finish. The bitterness comes in a bit too suddenly - doesn’t quite have the smooth transition and balance I like. Overall a reasonable pilsener.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein goldgelbes Pils mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hopfig, grasig. Geschmack herb, grasig, minimal würzig.

Bottle. Ok herbal hops in the nose, lightly hoppy flavor, somewhat crisp, light enough malts. Drinkable but surely forgettable.

judasbeer (431) - Budapest, HUNGARY - APR 25, 2010
Appearance: Pours pale golden color with a cottony white head with quite impressive retention.
Aroma: Very clean, neutral yeasty aroma. Slight buttery notes.
Flavor: Buttery, thick, oily peanuts in the lead-off. Sourish yeasty mid palate leading to a medium-dry herbal hop finish.
Mouthfeel/Palate: Medium body with decent yeasty enviroment. Balanced carbonation.
Overall: A very standard pilsner. Almost like a basic helles lager.

Brought back from Nurnberg to Belgium. Pretty good aroma--classic pils with more muted / less fresh hops. Light gold, nice head, solid lacing. This is actually a really sweet/malty pils--it has a bit of bitter in the finish, but overall it leans more towards a sweet amber ale (minus the caramel). I don’t love this, but not a bad beer.
