Geiserich (2342) - Vienna, - APR 23, 2006
Bottled:
Pale golden color. Malty, pithy aroma. Fresh malty flavor. Light sourly, unpleasant finish. Dry, astringent end. Not a really good Helles.

Idiosynkrasie (552) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - FEB 18, 2012
500ml bottle. Clear golden colour with small white medium pored head. Sour-grainy aroma. Incipient taste has grain, hay, later a fruity sweetness takes place. Nothing special.

A pretty standard helles. It is light and has some biscuity notes. It is predominantly malty.

Koelschtrinker (7066) - Köln (Cologne), North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - JUN 12, 2011
Test vom 16.2.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 10,7,9,8,6,9 - 8,50

Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts mild, malty, modest sweet, fruity touch. Not very dry. Well balanced finish, quite drinkable. Nice!

oh6gdx (16098) - Vasa, FINLAND - DEC 6, 2010
Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Golden colour, small white head, some lace. Aroma is bready malts, saltwatery notes, mild earthyness as well. Flavour is very much the same. Wellbalanced and clean, but a bit boring helles.

   AROMA 4/10   APPEARANCE 2/5   TASTE 4/10   PALATE 2/5   OVERALL 12/20
judasbeer (431) - Budapest, HUNGARY - APR 4, 2010
Appearance: Sun-dried pale golden tint with an extremely, bubbly-airy, diminishing head. No traces of lacing or remaining foam. Huge, lazy bubbles.
Aroma: Moderate grainy, bready notes of pale malts. Clean yeasty scent with a touch of corn.
Flavor: Bittersweet cooked vegetables at the first sip. Slightly sweet grainy, walnut-like malt profile interrupted by a simple grassy hop biterness.
Mouthfeel/Palate: Light body with harsh overcarbonated, watery texture.
Overall: A very humble helles, not the best that i’ve ever had. Far from mentionable.

MiP (11783) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - DEC 22, 2009
Bottle, 4.9%. Dusty aroma. Hazy yellow colour. Good stable chalk white head. The flavour is quite bready, slightly sweet. Low bitterness. Not past BB date, but tastes a bit old.
