Light-sweet flavour with a bitter edge, medium bodied. Robust malty, slightly toasty taste with light notes of honey; medium-dry, malty, light-bitter finish with shy herbal hoppy notes. A Mes rate: 50cl bottle from Quinns. Typical German nose with a nice smoked malt character to it. Elsewhere its nothing special at all. Golden appearance with plenty of lace. Malty flavour with a hint of bacon fat. Slightly metallic. Odd milky finish.

Bottle. As joeh says, this is like a belgian pils. Fizzy, with some light grassy hops and some sweet pale malt. Not much flavour. Not very interesting.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 kook (2033) - Perth, Western Australia, AUSTRALIA - FEB 6, 2005
High carb gold with a small white head. Mild malty aroma. Sweet boring though innoffensive taste. Thin bodied. Drinkable.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 Joeh (2036) - Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - FEB 5, 2005
Bottle @ Beer Circus, Croydon with Duff & Kook. Pale and golden with a fluffy white head. Aroma is much like a typical Belgian ’pils’, Jupiler etc. The beer has the typical lager flavour, grainy with even a hint of corn (although I shouldn’t think there is any?). Poor yet inoffensive.
