UPDATED: JUL 5, 2008 Reminded me very strongly of coconut milk. Has a wonderful fruity and rich nose but the mouth feel was much more watery/thin and the flavor was bland compared to most nigori I have tried. Had a mineral finish. It was more of a 1 note and laked the depth and range of flavor I was expecting from its wonderful aroma.

Milky, cloudy in colour. Mild sour taste with a fruity aftertaste. Texture is grainy and there is also the bitterness of alcohol in the taste.

Pours like watery milk, visible bits of floating rice. Inviting, sour, somewhat fruity white wine-like nose. Sweet & fruity with noticeable alcohol. Sourness left on the lips, drier-than-expected finish. Pretty good!

Pours the color of watered down milk. Slightly vinous quality. A little alcohol in the aroma. Somewhat fruity and lightly sweet. A little creamy. A tinge of alcohol is noticable.

UPDATED: FEB 3, 2006 White milky body with bits of rice left on the side of the glass. Mellon, rice, alcohol in the nose as well as the mouth with a touch of tartness. Medium/firm gritty mouthfeel wiht a clean finish showing a touch of mellon rind.
