dark brown pour as promised with a well sized light tan head. malty aroma, but the taste doesn’t deliver the punch and the finish is odd.

From tap. Pours dark brown with a huge light tan head. Aroma is roasted malt and light acidic. Flavour is mild fruity and light acidic roasted malt. Goes into a light dry buterish and medium dry finish.

This is a medium-bodied dark beer with an oily aroma. It has a somewhat metallic flavor that has malty nut tendencies.

Kind of disappointing. Nose of heavy sweet malts, but the body seemed thin. Good hop presence, and flavor is of roasted malts. Finish is hot somehow (only 4%!), and not unpleasant but kind of metallic. Weird beer.

From a 12 oz bottle this poured a chocolate brown with a small and quick fading light tan head and minimal lacing. Mouthfeel is medium and fairly smooth. Nose roasted malts, and some roasted nuts. Flavor is of burnt malts and some chocolate. Sweet finish.
