Commercial Description:
This is Klamath Basin's flagship beer; we feel this is probably our best all around beer that all craft-brew quaffer's will drink time and time again. We have been getting rave reviews on the great taste, the dark golden color and how well this beer finishes out. It has a good malt flavor and medium mouth feel for texture. The bitterness of the beer is just right for all tastes. 5.9 % Alcohol / 41 IBU'S

Draft at WCBF 2008. Light stone fruit aromas. Amber with an off-white head. Medium body with crisp carbonaton. Flavor is fruity hop over caramel malt. Finish is lightly bitter. Good drink.

Draft at Oregon Brewers Festival, Portland, OR. Ivory head that mostly diminished, no lacing, soft carbonation observed, transparent, and an orange hue. The nose was malty, caramel, wheat notes, and mildly hoppy. Ditto for the flavor and it finished crise and dry. Smooth mouthfeel. Quaffable indeed and worthy of a try.

On tap at Bailey’s Taproom in PDX--Poured a hazy dark copper hue with a bold white head. Bubbly and mildly aromatic. Nose of grainy malts and mild hops. Crisp, carbonated finish. Very quaffable.

Draft at Bailey’s Taproom, Portland. A hazy dark amber beer with a thick tan head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel, wheat, and yeast. The flavor is sweet quite wheaty with notes of spices and caramel, leading to a dry bitter finish.

This draft brew from the Oregon Brewers festival poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a transparent softly carbonated orange brown colored body. The mild aroma was hoppy malty and Irish Red malty. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The strong crisp flavor contained notes of hops and caramel. Kind of like an APA. A decent one that I would consider buying again.
