COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our India Pale Ale is rich with complexity. This wonderful ale is balanced so nicely. Citrus and pine hop flavors showcase the diversity of the hop while allowing the malt flavors to linger in the background.

Fresh-ish hop character of a dusty, dry and crisp nature. Some cara-malt flavour balances it out quite nicely.

Bomber from Made in Oregon. Pours amber with a creamy light beige head. Aroma is lightly ginger over roast caramel. Med+ body. Flavor is slightly harsh roast caramel with spice and floral. It has quite a kick. Hops are muddled, but the result is tasty and unusual.

Bottle. Mid-copper with an inch of head. Muddled herbal citrus rootsy aroma. Woody up front. Finish is a jumble of flavours; citrus, medicine, and cactus. Not bad just not stellar.

On tap at KBB. Absolutely great citrus aroma....clearly I have arrived in Oregon! Deep orange and yet another clear beer from KBB. Massively bitter leads to a chewy mouthfeel, which is nice. A solid beer.

Bomber. A weak India Pale Ale. A bit off balance. Bigger malt flavor than hop. Not much citrus taste. Light bitterness throughout. A touch of something roasted at the end.

I have tried so many IPA’s in my life, and I have always tried to keep in mind how much other people like them. It is only recently that I have given up on trying. Sorry, I just don’t like IPA’s. Maybe in a few more years my palate will change.

4 ounce sample on tap at WCBF. The aroma is earthy, herbal, and a bit catty. The aroma is a bit faint. Mostly transparent copper body with a small off-white head. Scant lacing. Starts bitter and hoppy with earthy and pine flavors. Some tannins follow in the middle. A little roasted before it finishes with more aggressive, earthy and pine hops. Some catty undertones are also present. Dry, but good.

On tap at West Coast Brewfest 2011. Pours copper with a modest beige head and a citrus aroma. There is a pretty good caramel malt base and just enough hop bitterness to make this a well-balanced and tasty IPA.
