Dec 10, 2007 Draft. Big nose of vanilla, bourbon, leather and nutmeg. Pours dark mahogany with tan head. Low head retention. Smackdown of sweetness in the finish with notes of fruit. Low hop profile that could maybe be boosted to mask some of the flavors to increase drinkability. A nice beer for cold winter nights, just one pint though.

Dec 7, 2007 On tap a Bailey’s Taproom in Portland, OR--Poured a deep black-brown body with a small off-white head. Distinct vanilla nose and flavor. Ovaltine malty taste with nutmeg and cinnamon hints in the finish. Very good!

Dec 21, 2005 Draft at Rose & Raindrop. Dark brown color with very little brown light at the bottom, and a small light brown head. Semi-sweet up front, spicy juniper and spiced wood, cinnamon and nutmeg. The nutmeg almost resembles an egg nog-like flavor, weird. Light and frothy, an interesting experiment. Not exactly a killer brew, but good for the most part. Some banana and pear show up when warmed.
