Bottle of 5.0% version. Golden straw color with sweet aroma. Mostly sweet taste. Understated hop finish. Not too bad, just not remarkable.

Very refrshing, with that sandy-sweet taste of the Czech lagers. I liked it a lot although had been in my cellar for long time.

Bottled. ABV 5.0%. Golden color. Very light, no signs of bitterness. Drinkable and much much much better than Klášter 10°.

Schroppfy (2335) - Łódż, Warsaw, Poland; Michigan, Ohio, USA - NOV 10, 2010
Really malty, bready beer. Aroma carries some alcohol, and various graininess (wheat, corn, bready). Diminished head, not so lively. All bread, a little grassy. Medium to even full bodied, slightly unusual in that regard. OK.

Bottle from Pivonka, Hradec Kralove. ABV 5 %. Pours golden with a moderate white head. Sweet malty aroma, citrus. Taste is light sweet, with floral citrusy notes. Dries up towards the end with a nice hoppy bitterness. Very good and balanced svetly.

16.9 Oz Bottle. Pours a very light gold, slight haze. Good head with some decent retention. Very tame malt on the nose, smells kind of odd but I can’t put a name to it. Tastes like saltine crackers, very light bitterness, mostly malt. Medium carbonation with little body.

jmm635 (627) - Havertown, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 13, 2009
Clear orange color with a lasting white bubbly head. Aroma is less than appealing. Light malts, soggy cereal, and spoiled hops. Flavor was about the same, mainly sour malts and a little bitterness. Palate is really soft and flat. I could not finish the entire glass.

drpimento (1760) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 10, 2008
Had this some years ago and it was better in my memory. Poured with a quickly fading to almost no head and a tiny bit of lace. Color is a slightly hazy deep amber. Aroma was bitter sweet, malty, a little hop, and grainy. Flavors about the same but stronger in the sweet malt. Hint of green bell pepper of all things. Nothing special, but not bad. Ditto with the finish. Session beer maybe...
