Bottle @ Tilburgs Bierfestival 2012. The taste is a bit barley, hay, malty, and of course hoppy. But there is a nice balance between the barley-malt and the hop flavours. I like this idea it is not that strong alcoholic and hoppy but it has more different and nice flavours. A fine and special IPA. Very Good! 11/13/13/12/-/12

Draught @TBF ’11. Summer like colour. Very fresh, hoppy. Has a nice full body and tastes pretty bitter.

(75 cl bottle) Pours a hazy, golden color with a nice, foamy head. Spicy and grassy, slightly soapy smell of fresh hops. Aroma has a touch of bubblegum, apricots, citrus fruits, grass and resin. The yeast seems to be of a kind often used in Belgian beers. Taste is quite bitter, no sweetness. Full bodied, dry finish. Would not call this an IPA, though, seems more like a strong (hoppy) blond or a saison to me. But I like it!

Bottle at home. Hazy golden pour, thick foamy white head. Aroma is hoppy citrus, spicy and a bit yeasty. Flavor is spicy hops, quite bitter and very well balanced. Very nice brew.

Countbeer (6180) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - JUN 27, 2011
Draught: @TBF’11: Medium white head, disappears quick, on top of a clear yellow colored beer. Smell typical blond with a mix of ipa, hops and soap. Taste hops, fruits, soap, wheat, sweets, light biiter and lighter sweet. Fruity light dry aftertaste. Low to medium carbo, soft mouthfeel, medium body and a watery texture.

On tap @ In De Wildeman. Pale blond color, somewhat hazy. White creamy head. Aroma’s of fresh hops, a bit sweet fruits, grain/malt & herbal. Flavor is somewhat caramel sweet and bitterish. Soft carbonation. Finishes with a strong, quite harsh bitterness. Lives up to its name. Nice!

11,12,12,11,8,12 11,55

Vignale (3317) - Malmö, SWEDEN - APR 22, 2013
Bottle from Beernavigater. BB dec, 2013. Pours dark straw coloured with lots of yeast sediment, medium head that disappears fast. Floral, yeasty and fruity tones on the nose but not very IPAish. More hoppy blond. The taste is fresh, floral, yeasty and with a touch of lemon peel that also adds a little bitterness. Nicely balnaced and a refreshing drink. Matched a white fish very well.

Bottle 330 ml at home, poured into a tulip glass. ABV 6.2% Dark but pale orange colour on the body, with bits as tiny as dust swimming in it, making the beer a tad hazy. Almost two fingers of white head, soapy, with average retention, leaving thick lacing around the glass’s wall. Aroma is malty with light hops notes, toffee, some cookie dough, mandarines. Nice taste, sweet and malty at first, with notes of citrus and mandarines, orange cake. Nice bitterness on the aftertaste, with good duration too. Medium thick body, very good for that alcohol level, average carbonation. Dry palate. Overall very good, decent and honest.

Drinking using coaster the brewer of this beer gave to me when I saw him at Beerkoening, nice guy overall. The beer is orange and clear. there’s good head which lasts fair amount of time. Smell is a bit like from basement. Taste is light and only little bit sugary. Aroma is not very strong. There is some hops which are floral and get better if you wait a bit. I can also find vanilla. Palate is light with average carbonation, if not even lively. Texture is quite thin, but this takes a while to finish which IMHO is a good thing. Overall a good beer.
