| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Dec 8, 2006 Bottle: Probably not a first choice for most beer drinkers....this used to be a hangover beer for me. Pours an orangish-amber colour with minimal head. The aroma is intensely...surprise...raspberries. Very light and sweet tasting. Goes down smooth and tasy. There is a definite raspberry aftertaste that almost feels unatural as it lingers on the palate. Not bad for a change or to turn a non-beer drinker onto beer but it will never be among my favourites. blankboy (3263), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Oct 16, 2006 Bottle. Pours a clear orange-amber with an average size white head. Aroma: whoa, that’s quite sweet, like rapberries and sugary yeast. Very watery, sweet flavour of raspberries and grain with a slightly unpleasant stale bitter finish. Light bodied. Too sweet, too thin and in no way resembles a Wheat beer. Not very good at all. emjay (30), Markham, Ontario, Canada
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Sep 16, 2006 Bottle. Poured a bright orange with a white head that quickly disappeared. Smell was like sour rasperries, but it didn’t come through too much in the flavor. The palate was akin to coors light or something along those lines. Not great, but drinkable I guess. lowg (123), Scarborough, Ontario, Canada
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 4, 2006 341ml bottle, singles bin at LCBO. Poured bright amber with a reddish tinge to it. Head was average size and diminished rather quickly with almost no lacing. Aroma was bready and fruity at the same time. Taste was fruity sweet (like raspberry bubblegum), a little bit malty, kinda watery actually. Expected more from this; enjoyed it nonetheless. beergut111 (210), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Aug 2, 2006 Not bad on a hot day. Tthis beer has a slightly artificial taste and the raberry taste seems to diminish, towards the end of the glass. StompBrockmore (300), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jul 14, 2006 This very thin, watery beer gives me nothing of it’s "wheat beer" name. The raspberries are there, and they make up the majority of the initial flavour, and then go away quickly leaving very little in the finish. Pretty uninteresting stuff. Disappointing, especially compared to the only other raspberry beer I’ve had, the Liefman’s Frambozenbier. A different style, I know, but this one is weak - it needs more body to carry it home. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jun 8, 2006 Bottle. Pours a light brick color with almost no head a slight carbonation. Nice raspberry nose, with some yeast lingering in the background. There is some raspberry flavors in there but they are not so prominent leaving a nothing more than average brew in its wake. Not offensive, just far from anything special. Thanks to Blankboy for the bottle.
