Draught @ Nederlands Biercafe t Arendsnest, Herengracht 90, Amsterdam, Netherlands 1015 BS.

Unclear hazy medium red orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, fruity, moderate hoppy, orange - citrus, overriped orange, moderate yeasty, overriped fruit, light alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, overriped fruity, yeasty, alcoholic - peppery finish, spicy star anis - licorice notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100925]

oh6gdx (20313) - Vasa, FINLAND - NOV 1, 2013
Bottled. Hazy deep orange/pale brown colour with a mediumsized white head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is toffee, some sweet fruits and mild alcoholic notes. Flavour is tropical fruits along with some bitterness and mild sweet malts and alcohol. Very simplistic as such, and the fruitiness really surprised me in a positive way. More like a Belgian Strong Ale than Quadrupel though...

bottle, thanks mowbeer. light brown with a faint beige head; aroma of terriyaki sauce and raw sugar; some pear nectar flavour, simple but a little flabby with plenty of alcohol showing; still not a bad offering
