3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 turbothy (1007) - Bonn, GERMANY - APR 20, 2006
Bottle bought today, marked "expires September 2005". Oh well.
Pours cloudy (actually totally overcast; it’s opaque) straw yellow with a small head. Aroma is citrusy but without the acidic pang. Nice fizzy mouthfeel. Taste is peculiar; fruity with a hint of ... melon? I like it a lot.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 SaintMatty (3596) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - AUG 23, 2012
330ml Bottle (Thanks Benzai) - Hazy golden with a small white head. Lemon, banana, spice and a hint of must in the aroma. Tangy and very carbonated taste with cloves, banana, lemon and pineapple detected. Quite an unusually high about carbonation, at least compared to what I am used to. That doesn’t detract from the enjoyment, though. Very refreshing.

Cloudy yellow colour with a fine white head. Yeast and wheat aroma. Also a bit unpleasant sour note. Mild round sweet wheat flavour. Full body. [Bottle from Bert’s Bierhuis in Utrecht, Netherlands]

Fully hazy yellow with greenish shine; slim small white head. Coriandernose with faint citrus and rosewater. Taste is rosewater, bubble gum, yeast esters and little spices. Wheat, but not very expressly so. Refreshing, no doubt. Superior in its category, recommended if you like witbier.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 sayravai (4654) - Helsinki, FINLAND - DEC 23, 2007
(Bottled) Hazy light amber with a very small, mostly fading head. Aroma of lemon, peach and exotic fruit, with some yeastiness and cidery sourness. Wheaty-pale malty flavor with coriander-spiciness and hints of honey and hints of lambicy sourness. Light to medium-bodied, quite carbonated palate. Interesting, but not extremely pleasant or pretty.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 caesar (3930) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - MAR 1, 2004
Bottled. (After pouring the yeast) cloudy orange color, medium white head, lasting. Aroma of grains, spices (coriander), banana, citrus. Sweet taste, in between a triple and a white more, banana again. If it is a white, then more a german wheat, but still it is a bit weak. Sticky palate.
