An amber beer with sediment floating around and a beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of oranges. The flavor is sour with notes of chocolate and the body is thin. This is not a porter and the flavor is not pleasant.

(Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of jbrus. Pours a clear, orangey brown with a neat, dense, beige head leaving some lacework. Vinous aroma with some dried fruit - raisins in particular. The body is medium with some burned caramel accents and a light whiff of smoke. Roasted malts also. There’s a vague malt bitterness but the finish is mainly sweet. 280208

Bottled. Dark ruby red colour, small white head. Aroma is weak, malty and caramellish with hints of also coffee, roast and a bit chocolate. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, nuts and some cookies. Quite watery to the palate, but otherwise it was very nice when being served at about 13-14 C degrees.

Amber color; creamy head. Delicate aroma, dominated by the vanilla. Quite good malty taste, with strong caramel character and decent hopping. Probably not a Porter, but the most enjoyable of this series of 3 Duimpje’s.
