A dark brown, almost black colored beer, with a big foamy beige head. The aroma of chocolate with some raisins and fruity orange in the back. The taste of roasted malts, with chocolate some dark fruits. A very enjoyable beer.

A 11.2 oz bottle. Pours super dark brown, kinda flat with minimal head. The scent of black licorice and dark coffee are big while chocolate cake sneaks thru in the background. I taste a thin watery porter with notes of coffee, chocolate and a hint of cola. Meh

Bottle at home. Pours dark brown with a large off-white/tan head. Aroma is roasted malts and chocolate, bit acidic as well. Taste is roasted malts, hints of chocolate and quite sour. Not sure if this is infected or intentional. Aroma is nice, taste not so.

Black pour with a thin light beige rocky cap. The nose smells like a mix of milk chocolate and blonde cereal grains. Dark earthy smokey flavor at the start, some dark cocoa and molasses notes, a wee bit of earthy nuttiness towards a semi smokey bitter finish. Charming and deep, complex, not too sweet or too chocolaty. Wonderfully done.

Appearance dark brown really bubly with a unstable off white head Aroma: dull dust chocolate. Taste: Infected in a bad way, Sour thin watery coffee and roasted malts. thin texture, high carbonation. This bottle was clearly off I might re-try at a later point.

Clear dark brown with a red glow. Big bubbly tan head. Gusher. And sour, so probably infected.

11.2oz bottle - pours dark brown with tan head. nose is caramel, roast and dark fruit. Must be old since I do not detect that much of a hop presence. Flavor adds coffee and light grass. bitter like dark chocolate with a little sweetness. medium body.

Bottle:   Deep brown, moderate to large frothy sandy head, fairly nice lacing.   Very faint roasted character.   A touch of musty or basement funked like dark pitted fruit, very minor.   Very much a Belgian flair on the tongue, lots of musty and basement like malty characteristics.   Not all that roasty, but has a strong toasted malt base.   Seems more of a weak Belgian Dubbel than a Porter in that its not all that robust.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Very dusty finish.   Weak Porter crossed with a weak Dubbel.   Nothing off about it, but its not terribly Porterish.
