Douberd (2280) - Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - JUL 28, 2014
Bottle at home, 330ml, poured into a weizen glass, ABV 7.5% Deep orange golden colour on the body, lots of activity in it, with a good sized off-white head, a bit thin though but with ikay retention, leaving light lacing on the glass. Aroma consists mainly of smoke, although some of the wheat is still notable on the back, along with clove. Taste has wheat, lots of metal, smoked meat, light clove. Overall okay, interesting beer. Medium thin body, good lively carbonation. Moderate dry palate.

mile (2980) - Helsinki, FINLAND - APR 7, 2014
Bottle. Light golden, hazy, small and fully diminish head. Light to moderate malty - faint wheat and lightly sweetish aroma, light caramel with faint smokiness. Body is light to medium, malty - faint wheat and dryish flavor with faint caramel and light sourness, light metal and alcohol. Finish is short to average, malty - faint wheat and dryish, faint caramel and smokiness, light metal, light - some alcohol. This one has more metal and alcohol than "rauch".

ElDesmadre (1548) - Mikołów, POLAND - MAR 24, 2014
Bottle from Bierkoning, thanks! Spicy-yeasty, vinous-tart and pale malty aroma, only then some smoked notes chime in. Vapid, empty taste of light malty, discernably alcoholic water, with a spicy, light smoky, very alcoholic-astringent finish. Tastes like a light smoked tripel gone really wrong.

The smoke is there and tasty, but the wheat is a bit too present with it’s sweetness. Needs some more balance.

Light amber and unclear. Has a white head, mostly lasting. Aroma is sweet, smoked, faint pine. Flavor starts sweet, more resin and light smoked. Bitter finish.

Very hazy golden colour, white head. Buttery aroma, malts, smoke, ash, sour smoke. Bitter flavour, smoke, ash, wheat, quite sour. Smoky flavour, finish weizen, ash, sour touch.
(From draught @ Tilburgs Bier Festival, visited during RBESG ’13. Thanks for sharing, ratebeer crew!)

Aniela (2313) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JUL 28, 2013
Sample at Tilburg Bierfestival. A bit hazy yellow, almost orange; beer with a minimal offwhite head. Smokey, malty and citrus aroma. A bitsmokey, wheat, hay and hoppy flavour.

77ships (3762) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - JUN 30, 2013
Sampled draught @ Tilburg Bierfestival 2013. Murky no head, lemon yellow & basically no white head. Nose is smoke, leather but dominated quite a bit by thick lactic wheat, citrus. Taste is sour smoked wheat, leather, lactic sourness dominates but leather is the first thing I am getting, sour wheat & lemon. Flat, hazy thick wheat. Agreeable but surely it is not meat to be sour?
