Bottle (bought from the GBBF, London). Very deep brown colour, close to black, with a minor beigeish brown head. Aroma is chocolate, coffee, some roasted malts, ashes and mild toffeeish notes along with some slight notes of alcohol. Flavour is roasted malts, coffee, ashes, chocolate and some mild toffee along with some earthy notes. Quite thick, but really not sure what makes this a Baltic porter...

Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Opague. Coffee, roasted malt, dark chocolate and a hint of smoke in the aroma. Somewhat fizzy. Roasted flavor, sweetish with chocolate and coffee. Soft smoky finish. Almost full bodied. Alcoholic. One of the best of Klein Duimpje so far.

Bottle from GBBF 2012, drank at home. Dark brown pour with a big beige head. Coffee and chocolate aroma. Smooth coffee flavour with dark chocolate and licorice. Dry, sweet finish. Tasty.

bottle sampled @ GBF 2012 // dark brown with a small tanned head // smells of sweet coffee with lots of milk in it & even more cream, some milk chocolate / not very ’beer’ like // taste is lots of sweet coffee, cream, milk chocolate, mocha, should be creamy but taste is ruined a bit by the too high carb, here but still not bad, light booze in the finish // not extreme by beer geek standards but probably yes for regular beer drinkers, anyway this is not a bad coffee

Good, slowly dwindling yellow-cream head over very dark-brown, chestnut beer. Roasted, mocha, chocolate bars, parsley. Bitter, roasted, coffee or mocha. Aftertaste yields even more coffee. Medium bodied at least, feels well-carbonated; quite slick. If this has anything to do with the other X-treme beers, this is the first one that really speaks for itself. Good.

erickok (2282) - Tours, FRANCE - AUG 6, 2012
Dark brown body, bit murky. Yeasty base, which reveals a lot of mocha, milk chocolate, dades. Nice smell. Fairly sweet taste, not super refined. Burned sugar and coffee. Interesting brew; not the most balanced beer. Still, a tasty beer. (At Botermarkt Bierfestival Haarlem)

kiwianer (2314) - Mönchengladbach, GERMANY - JUL 3, 2012
The head is medium, the body black. It smells mokka, cacao, malty, alcoholic. The taste is in my opinion to strong alcoholic, i do not like this kind of alcoholic taste, there is also a nice cacao, choco, mocca flavour but it is more in the background, in the front is the alcoholic taste. Ok but maybe too much alcohol for this beer. 10/11/8/9/12/9

Hazy brown color. Smells cacao, chocolate, some hints of caramel, roasted malt and yeast. Tastes mainly cacao, licorice and chocolate. Alcool is perceived and roasted malt finishing. Not high carbonation. Something is missing here... "Extreme" is too much.

Bottle at home. Black pour, huge foamy tan head. Aroma is roasty and with bready yeast, burnt sugar and caramel. Flavor is bitter roasted, sweet burnt sugar, caramel and some coffee. A bit like a powered up Belgian dubbel. Not bad, but also a bit out of balance.
