Good, slowly dwindling yellow-cream head over very dark-brown, chestnut beer. Roasted, mocha, chocolate bars, parsley. Bitter, roasted, coffee or mocha. Aftertaste yields even more coffee. Medium bodied at least, feels well-carbonated; quite slick. If this has anything to do with the other X-treme beers, this is the first one that really speaks for itself. Good.

Bottle. Very dark brown – almost black, average and fully diminishing light brown head. Moderate to full, malty - some oat and sweetish aroma, roasted - burnt malt, some coffee and light licorice faint smokiness. Body is medium to full, malty - some oat and sweetish flavor, some roasted malt and light coffee, light licorice. Finish is average to long, malty - some oat and lightly sweetish, roasted - some burnt malt, light coffee and licorice, light hoppyness and alcohol. OK roasted/burnt Baltic porter - not too sweet/too much coffee.

Pours a black beer with a little bit of head. It smellt a bit odd. A bit cheesy. I loved the taste. Nice coffee chocolate taste. It was low on carbo but I liked the dry and sticky finish.

Opaque dark brown beer, tidy pale tan head. Palate is light and quite airy. Minerally mild coffee. A little airy malt cream. Whispers of roast and bubblegum ester. Finishes soft and minerally. Hangs together well.

330ml bottel. Hazy darkest brown colour with huge, frothy to foamy, diminishing, off-white head. Dark malty aroma with coffee and chocolate notes. Taste is minimally to moderately sweet dark malty, notes of coffee and chocolate, yeasty overtones, dry and with a smokey touch in the finish; carbonation is way too lively and bothersome.

Dark brown colored body with coca-cola like tan colored head. The foam is persistent. Aroma is sweet with dark malty, hops and yeast. Taste is owned by dark chocolate, dry raisins, coffee beans and hints of oak. Finished by bitterness, probably combination of coffee and hops. Hgih alcohol content is apparent. Full mouthfeel with high carbonation.

Bottle on the train from Edinburgh (Nina’s Mini Market) - 08/12/12. Gusher alert !!! Opaque mahogony brown with a mashoosive frothy tan head that retains very well. Nose carries Belgian yeast esters, dark fruits, a little chocolate, light booze. Taste comprises bitter chocolate, roast malts, toffee, booze. Fuller end of medium bodied. Not a well made strong beer, overly boozey in taste, drinkable but very disappointing.

Bottle at Arendsnest with Kermis. Poured a deep, dark brown color with medium to large khaki head and lacing. Aromas and taste were hoppy, sweet, sugary, coffee, weird soy sauce finish. A good bit of malt in this one as well. We werent that crazy about this offering.
